The “Health” section of The Wall Street Journal on December 27, 2011 had an article about the effect our oral health has on our general health.

Early signs of diabetes, cancer, pregnancy, immune disorders, hormone imbalances and drug issues show up in the gums, teeth and tongue.

Oral health problems, particularly gum disease, raise the patients risk of diabetes, heart disease, stroke, pneumonia and pregnancy complications.

Keep us up to date with all medications, supplements and over-the -counter drugs you are taking.  They can have an effect on your dental care.

The eyes may be the window to the soul, but the mouth provides an even better view of the body as a whole!

We are so excited around here… This month we are going to have some construction taking place in our office.  We will be installing new equipment and cosmetic updating in two of our patient treatment rooms.  Can’t wait for you to see it!
